Ford Mad Max Interceptor Future Generation of Interceptor Vehicle

The project design of Ford Mad Max Interceptor is a resulted from collaboration between Ford Australia’s design team and TopGear Australia. This futuristic car concept is intended for the movie franchise entitled Mad Max. The Interceptor is an iconic car which was used by Mel Gibson at the first movie which was directed by George Miller in 1979. Chris Svensson from Australia’s ford design team said,“Our entire team was very excited to be involved in this after-hours project and they approached it with a great deal of enthusiasm – even those that were too young to remember the first Mad Max movie. We had a special screening of the original movie so they could understand it.”

The projected works were presented by a designer group such as: Nima Nourian, Simon Brook, David Dewitt, Max Tran, Nick Eterovic and Sven Delcour. Amongst the different entries, TopGear Australia has choosen two designs, designed by designed Nima Nourian and Simon Brook, selected because of the visual strength, technology and weaponry on the design.
